Did you know - 27 wineries, a whiskey distillery, incredible restaurants and the highest concentration of B&Bs in the State of Virginia are tucked into the edges of Skyline Drive just below Shenandoah National
Park?
Skyline Drive is one of the top five scenic drives and best hiking destinations in the U.S. The Park is a haven for black bears, deer and other
wildlife. Cascading waterfalls and spectacular vistas of quaint
communities line the historic 105 mile drive. Four entrance stations lead onto Skyline drive. When the 35 mile per hour speed
limit and hair pin turns get to be too much, you can jump off of the drive to take in a charming winery or restaurant at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The Skyline Wine Dine & Recline Trail map combines the location of hikes,
waterfalls and scenic overlooks in the park
with the location of vineyards, restaurants and Inns you'll find in
the foothills below. Use the links to the left to plan your
itinerary through the Skyline Wine Dine & Recline Trail.
